Customer Reviews of Circulon Elite 12-Inch Nonstick Hard-Anodized Deep Skillet with Glass Cover
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Service! Comment: You can't find Circulon products where I live. It was nice to find what I was looking for at such a great price! The item arrived in excellent condition and within a few days of ordering. Customer Rating: Summary: Circulon Deep Skillet Comment: This is a fantastic pan that holds a tremendous amount of food. I use it to brown 5 pounds of hamburger at one time. It is wonderful. My only complaint is that the skillet is very heavy and when combined with whatever food you have in the pan moving it becomes an issue. A handle on the other side of the pan would be awesome but all in all this pan is great. Easy clean up and the lid handle is insulated so it never gets hot to touch. Customer Rating: Summary: Love it! Comment: I've had this skillet about 3 months. {I got it to replace a similar Farberware one that I had loved. After 10 years, it suddenly went from non-stick to ever-stick.} I use this for one-dish meals, stir-fry, frying 2-5 lbs of ground beef to freeze, and many other things. I probably use it several times a week. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it could really use a helper handle. It works to use a pot holder on the lip opposite the handle to transfer the skillet from the stove to the table. But,if I need to transfer the contents into something else, it's better to use a measuring cup to transfer rather than trying to pour. It worked great tonight for making meatballs - no sticking at all. I am very happy with the finish. I am careful not to heat it dry - I either use a little bit of oil, or some water that I dump when I'm ready to use a nice hot skillet. At first, I was nervous about the glass lid, but I really like it after all. I shopped around for several months last summer before I decided on this skillet. I'm so glad I settled on this one! Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome pan! Comment: I love this pan! I was worried the handle would be too heavy, as the other reviews suggested, but I did not find that to be the case. The pan cooks well, is easy to clean, and the fact that it comes with a cover is awesome! I generally like this brand of pots and pans, and this particular pan does not disappoint! I highly recommend it! Customer Rating: Summary: Circulon Skillet Comment: We use it all the time. Yes, we'd purchase it again if it was ever necessary. More Reviews A do-everything pan that no chef can cook without. Versatile skillet scrambles eggs, sautés vegetables, sears steaks and more. Features sloped sides so food slides out easily. Nonstick surface for easy clean up. Limited lifetime warranty. Choosing Appliance -> Plastic wrap An absolute must with a million and a half uses. But do not buy just any plastic wrap. Go to a restaurant supply store and buy a large roll of restaurant plastic wrap. It sticks much better than the common grocery store plastic wrap and is much cheaper per foot. Choosing Appliance -> Shopping Dryer When shopping for a new clothes dryer, look for one with a moisture sensor that automatically shuts off the machine when your clothes are dry. Not only will this save energy, it will save wear and tear on your clothes caused by over-drying. Keep in mind that gas dryers are less expensive to operate than electric dryers. The cost of drying a typical load of laundry in an electric dryer is 30 to 40 cents compared to 15 to 25 cents in a gas dryer. Circulon Elite 12-Inch Nonstick Hard-Anodized Deep Skillet with Glass Cover Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Cleaning & Maintenance Oven Never use a scouring pad of any sort to remove stubborn stains or soiled areas, since these pads scratch the finish and any future soiled areas won't clean up as well, especially with the self-cleaning models. When the oven is cool to the touch, place a cloth or sponge, dampened with warm to hot tap water, onto the soiled area and allow it to sit, for about ten minutes or so, to help loosen the soil. |
