Holds lots of volume and keeps coffee hot for hours, it is easy to clean and easy to use. I am satisfied with this purchase. Customer Rating: Summary: Keeps it HOT! Comment: Finally a carafe that keeps the coffee HOT for several hours. I make extra coffee in the morning and put the extra into the carafe for my husband when he comes home from work approx 6 to 8 hrs. later. Up until now he has had to "nuke" the coffee because it wasn't hot enough -- but not since we purchased the Alfi Toscana Carafe. I would highly recommend this carafe. More Reviews This Alfi Toscana carafe features a frosted black surface and is constructed of high quality polypropylene. Equipped with Alfi's double-walled vacuum glass liner which keeps liquids hot or cold for up to 12 hours. Features alfiDur vacuum hardglass liner, high quality polypropylene frosted surface and innovative easy one-handed operation. The twin-walled alfiDur toughened hardglass liner creates a vacuum between the walls, allowing neither heat nor cold to escape. 100 percent performance tested. Kitchen tips -> Cut raw meat When trying to cut thin slices or strips of raw meat, it is easier if you put the meat into the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour before cutting to help firm up the meat, or if the meat was frozen, slice it before it is completely thawed |
