More Reviews Noritake Colorwave sets a table with clean, modern, no-frill lines. The combination of glossy white glazed interior and matte exterior, devoid of decoration, looks and feels spectacular in its simplicity. This particular set in graphite features a compelling dark charcoal-gray exterior, although the beauty of this particular collection is that any Colorwave color mixes and matches with all other Colorwave pieces. Use purple or green serving dishes to dance with graphite place settings, or, for true fun, set each place setting with a different color. Included in this four-piece place setting are a 12-ounce mug with a lip-friendly hint of curve at the rim; a graceful, easy-stacking 7-by-2-1/8-inch coupe-style cereal bowl; 8-1/2-inch salad plate; and 10-3/4-inch dinner plate. Both plates are nearly flat, with a subtly upturned rim, creating a large usable surface. Made of durable stoneware, the pieces in the set stand up to everyday use but looks dressy enough for formal dinners.
