Customer Rating:   Summary: Not as nice as they look Comment: The silver was somewhat tarnished, and when you look inside the glass you can see the glue that holds the glass to the silver. Customer Rating: Summary: Don't buy! Comment: I bought these for my sister's wedding and opened the box, (thank goodness!) to check on them. One glass was fine and the other, the glass part of the Flute just easily came out of the silver part, as if they'd never been attached at all. So I had to go and buy a different set for her big day. HOWEVER....Amazon was terrific about it when I called. They refunded my money AND said just keep the glasses. Can't use one, but the other one if fine and I just put it on my sideboard. It is pretty. Amazon was great - they sent me a new set, the return shipping for the good one was free and it was all very easy. I can't wait to use them at my wedding. The only reason they did not get the 5 star rating is that they can not be etched with our names and date. My only problem with these is there is something with the glass part of the flute that no one could etch our names in them with multiple attempts. Choosing Appliance -> Convection Ovens Convection ovens allow you to bake more foods (cookies, muffins, etc.) at once with even browning, but without the need to shift and rotate pans. A convection oven is the same as a conventional oven except a fan is installed in the back interior of the oven. The fan is used to blow and force the heat to circulate in the oven and around the food, thus eliminating the need to rotate and shift pans. In reality, though, even with the most expensive convection ovens, you will still need to rotate your foods, because there will always exist still hot spots in the cavity, because the cavity is small. Don't compare home convection ovens with most commercial convection ovens used by bakers and small food manufacturers, because their commercial ovens are much larger than home ovens and commercial ovens don't have any hot spots and therefore, there's no need to shift and rotate pans. Choosing Appliance -> Food Processor This is a big ticket item, but worth its weight in gold. It will save so much time when it comes to simple chopping or more advanced preparations like mayonnaise. As with most things, buy quality-- it will last longer, be capable of tougher jobs, and give you less problems.
