Customer Reviews of Caleca Bluemoon 2-Piece Creamer and Sugar Bowl Set
Customer Rating: Summary: Definitely not the size I was expecting...... Comment: I have the Blue Moon dishes, and love them, so I was VERY excited to find this set when I needed a new sugar bowl. Imagine my suprise when it arrived, and I found the sugar bowl to be TINY. We actually use it for splenda, and use quite a bit, so this is all but useless for us. It is adorable, but useless. Customer Rating: Summary: Cute creamer and sugar bowl Comment: Very cute set that goes with my casual dinnerware. My make of dinnerware does not have accessories and these two pieces coordinate beautifully with it. More Reviews Manufactured and decorated by hand in Sicily for over 200 years, this Italian pottery from Caleca maintains a high level of durability, beauty, and tradition. Individually constructed and painted by hand, each piece receives a stamp ensuring its authenticity. With or without the official seal, the brightly saturated colors and whimsically fresh patterns are instantly recognizable as Caleca designs. The ideal accompaniment to the 9-piece tea service, this 2-piece set includes an 8-ounce creamer and adorable 4-ounce sugar bowl. Deep ocean blue, fresh apple green, and a pale sky blue all combine to capture the splendor of the Sicilian coast and the surrounding natural beauty. Deeply saturated colors attract the eye, while a slightly varied leaf motif enhances the Bluemoon design. Crafted from lead-free, non-toxic clay, all Caleca dinnerware is chip-resistant and can safely be placed in the dishwasher and microwave. --Lea Werbel Choosing Appliance -> Convection Ovens Convection ovens allow you to bake more foods (cookies, muffins, etc.) at once with even browning, but without the need to shift and rotate pans. A convection oven is the same as a conventional oven except a fan is installed in the back interior of the oven. The fan is used to blow and force the heat to circulate in the oven and around the food, thus eliminating the need to rotate and shift pans. In reality, though, even with the most expensive convection ovens, you will still need to rotate your foods, because there will always exist still hot spots in the cavity, because the cavity is small. Don't compare home convection ovens with most commercial convection ovens used by bakers and small food manufacturers, because their commercial ovens are much larger than home ovens and commercial ovens don't have any hot spots and therefore, there's no need to shift and rotate pans. Choosing Appliance -> Spoons Buy stainless spoons (both slotted and non-slotted) which are solid and won't bend no matter how tough the job. Also, buy several high quality wooden spoons for stirring delicate dishes like risotto (the sharp edge of a metal spoon would cut or bruise the rice). Caleca Bluemoon 2-Piece Creamer and Sugar Bowl Set Useful info -> Range Cookers The majority of contemporary range cookers are dual fuel (electric ovens teamed with a gas hob although some all-electric versions are available. Heat storage cookers may be fuelled by gas, oil, solid fuel or electricity. |
