Summer teas and spring brunches call for dinnerware as fresh and lovely as the weather. The Lenox Butterfly Meadow pattern features a garden motif of butterflies, bumblebees, ladybugs, and blossoms set against an ivory background. The delicately rendered images, created by Lenox artist Louise Le Luyer, vary between pieces for a charmingly playful table. Crafted from fine bone porcelain, the pattern has gently scalloped rims and is safe in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Like all Lenox dinnerware, the Butterfly Meadow line is covered by a lifetime replacement policy.

Choosing Appliance -> Ladles
Look for ladles that are made of one piece of stainless steel rather than a handle and dome which are spot welded together. With use, spot welded ladles tend to come apart. Buy several differnet sizes.
Choosing Appliance -> Mixer
Pretty much the same thoughts as the food processor. High quality mixers are great for making bread or other tough jobs. Every kitchen should have one. Be sure that any mixer has all three attachments: paddle, dough hook, and whip. Also, find a spot on the counter where it can be easily accessed at a moment's notice.

Kitchen tips -> Rice cooking
Add a few drops of lemon juice and a teaspoon of oil to rice when cooking. This will allow the rice to separate and not stick together after it is cooked. You can also try just adding a tablespoon of vinegar to the water to prevent rice from sticking
