More on this product: Editorial Review | Description
Inspired by the incredibly unique nature of New York, Tribeca dinnerware takes its name from a fashionable Manhattan neighborhood. Clean, composed, and highly modern, the pattern features a bone china base generously trimmed with precious platinum. A white-on-white embossed border of continuous squares creates a refined yet subtle accent. Spare yet beautiful, the pattern is perfect for sophisticated romantic dinners or stylish late-night entertaining. Its shaping also incorporates contemporary elements, like the drum-style teacup and the elegantly tall accent mug. Safe in the dishwasher, Tribeca includes a full selection of place settings and serveware, all covered by Lenox's lifetime replacement policy. Choosing Appliance -> Spatulas Buy a sturdy stainless spatula for general uses and a Teflon spatula for your non-stick pan. In addition, buy a silicon baking spatula for scraping bowls. Silicon is an amazing substance which is heat resistant up to 550 degrees. Choosing Appliance -> Convection Ovens Convection ovens allow you to bake more foods (cookies, muffins, etc.) at once with even browning, but without the need to shift and rotate pans. A convection oven is the same as a conventional oven except a fan is installed in the back interior of the oven. The fan is used to blow and force the heat to circulate in the oven and around the food, thus eliminating the need to rotate and shift pans. In reality, though, even with the most expensive convection ovens, you will still need to rotate your foods, because there will always exist still hot spots in the cavity, because the cavity is small. Don't compare home convection ovens with most commercial convection ovens used by bakers and small food manufacturers, because their commercial ovens are much larger than home ovens and commercial ovens don't have any hot spots and therefore, there's no need to shift and rotate pans. Useful info -> Range Cookers The majority of contemporary range cookers are dual fuel (electric ovens teamed with a gas hob although some all-electric versions are available. Heat storage cookers may be fuelled by gas, oil, solid fuel or electricity. |
