Customer Rating:   Summary: shark vac Comment: What I like most about this product is the retractable cord....easy, easy, easy for the busy person who doesn't have a second to sit and wind up a cord, one button a zoop, it is done. Next I like the way it is small like a hand vac but has more power b/c it is electric. Then, it doesn't have a bag, just push a button and dump out the mess. The only thing is I first purchased it for around 20 or so, now it is more, I don't know why. Customer Rating: Summary: Best Handheld Vac Ever Comment: This hand held vac has every feature I wanted. I love the retractible cord, I love the way it cleans, I love the ease of cleaning it after using it and I love that it has several attachments. I wish I had discovered this treasure years ago. If I was going to change anything, it would be to give it a little longer cord even tho it's long enough to do a stairway without an extension cord which is great. Customer Rating: Summary: The Shark rocks Comment: We've used the Shark vacs for years and they've always been great. We keep the Shark Retractor on our boat because it has tremendous suction for a small vac and the cord retracts into the body so that it stow easily. We also like the brush tool with the beater bar. The Shark customer service is the only negative aspect of this product. The vac works so incredibly well we keep buying them in spite of the customer service. By the way, we don't keep buying them because they break, Shark keeps adding better and better features. Customer Rating: Summary: Filters--a "fine print" issue Comment: I've used this vacuum for two years and it is efficient. It does get hot (even when new) when the filter needs cleaning, which is often. Fine dirt accumulates in the HEPA filter and can't be removed by tapping so rinsing is necessary, with a 24-hr. drying time before reuse. Filters are available only from the manufacturer, so I called to order some and learned they are very expensive. I declined to purchase, and the customer service rep. was persistent. Only at the end of the conversation did she announce they were offering a special promotion of double quantity for the same price. That made me angry so I bought none. Customer Rating: Summary: Decent Vacuum for the Price but not perfect Comment: Good suction power; accessory hose is too short; retractable power cord function fails after repetitive use; hepa filter is not rinsable (after i attempted this following the included instructions the hepa filter had mold growing on it) Replacement hepa filters are not cheap $25 for two at company website. Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Natural Granite Maintenance Granite must not be rubbed with abrasive materials instead, wash with clean warm water to which a non-abrasive light neutral detergent (PH7) may be added. Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a chamois leather or similar. Drainer Grooves can be cleaned using wire wool. |
