Customer Rating:  Summary: Superb! Comment: I'm amazed at how well this works. I should have been using these for years. Some have complained it doesn't hold as much as a boar bristle brush. I think it does but you need to use it differently. This brush needs to be dipped deeply to take on a good load. Since it doesn't have a ferrule like a bristle brush it's not a problem to dip the bristles all the way to the top. It is very gentle. I brush bagettes with an egg wash and it's gentle enough for that. Cleans beautifully in the dishwasher and is heat resistant enough to stir melting butter and hot sauces on the stove. It's just great. This one is big enough to use on a gas grill too and it won't melt or stick. It also doesn't take a set like a bristle brush. I will be buying more of these. The bristles are thinner and closer together then other brands so it really holds a lot of sauce. They are also more flexable because they are longer. Super brush and very easy clean up by hand or just toss in the dish washer. If you want a great brush for brushing milk or egg on pastry try the smaller mario batalli one, the bristles on that one are flat and each one is ridged great for applying liguids. But if you are looking for an excellent basing/barbq brush get this one, it's really super! Great gift idea too. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Comment: Beats the old paint brush things.
