Customer Rating:  Summary: AMAZING! Comment: I recently purchased these along w/ the original 5 piece measuring spoons. They are very heavy weight, and I love how they are made out of 18/10 stainless steal!!! I wish I could just buy a 10 piece set w/ all the items in one package, but thats not really a complaint. LOVE THEM! I recommend having the odd and orignal set! the measuring cups I bought through them too are GREAT! Customer Rating:  Summary: Filling in the gaps Comment: This product is very helpful if you do a lot of cooking, particularly baking. I make different dough recipes on a weekly basis and never am quite sure of what I'll need in the way of measurements. I do occasionally find recipes that say things like "a pinch", a "smidgeon", or "a dash", etc., and this set of measuring spoons actually has things like that covered. If you need very precise measuring, like 2 teaspoons, then it will also be a big help. If you don't do a lot of baking, though, I would say it is not a 'must-have' item for your kithen. Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect measurement in a quality product Comment: They measure accurately... they are narrow and so fit nicely into jars... they do not have a 1/2 tablespoon but they do have a 1 teaspoon and a 1/2 teaspoon which is the same thing... they are not flimsy in any way and I believe they will last a long time. More Reviews This five-piece stainless steel measuring spoon set has all of the odd sizes a seasoned cook desires that are not normally included with standard-sized sets. One each of a Smidgen, a Pinch, 2 tsp, 1.5 tbsp and 2 tbsp. All pieces fit on one small o-ring for storage. This is a handy kitchen tool to have when using older recipe books which often reference these odd measurements, or when resizing recipes. Dishwasher safe. 
Choosing Appliance -> Plastic wrap An absolute must with a million and a half uses. But do not buy just any plastic wrap. Go to a restaurant supply store and buy a large roll of restaurant plastic wrap. It sticks much better than the common grocery store plastic wrap and is much cheaper per foot. Choosing Appliance -> Non-stick Pans We recommend having at least 1 high quality non-stick saute pan. It makes cooking eggs and delicate items like fish a breeze.
