Customer Rating:   Summary: Cook For The Cure? Comment: Having bought EVERY pink item in the last several months. I was dismayed to discover that none of the money was going to CFTC just because I had bought them. Seems that in VERY small print on the hang tag, there is a disclaimer. You have to go online and register the product. Only then will KitchenAid fork over the Money...... Yes for something as small as a set of measuring cups or a knife, you have to register. Of course I discovered this long after I had thrown away the hang tags. So I went to LOWES and wrote down the UPC from the items they still stocked there. They were out of several items I have and didn't know if they were getting any more. So now I am off to the mall kitchen store. Wish me luck. Oh and SAVE those hang tags. Being plastic they are so far indestructable. Also easy to clean. Worth every penny. It also cuts down on the amount of fat necessary to effectively saute. The best place to buy such pans is from a restaurant supplier. Choosing Appliance -> Dishwashers Look for models with adjustable baskets and flexible internal layouts for varying load requirements. For example, a tilting upper basket allows large 30cm diameter plates in the lower basket and extra flaps can be raised or lowered to cater for small items or large pans. Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Stainless Steel Maintenance Wipe away any acid spills such as from vinegar or grapefruit straight away. Never clean the bowl or draining board with an abrasive cleaner. Instead use liquid detergent in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth to remove water drop marks. Care for stainless steel appliance fascias and cabinet fronts in the same way. If choosing stainless steel cabinets, a 'brushed' surface is less likely to show grease from finger marks. |
