Customer Rating:   Summary: Great for the price Comment: Needed a product that shredded and sliced and this fit the bill, plus it has storage containers that you are shredding or slicing right into. Makes for a great process and freeze. Cuts out all the mess of extra bowls and clean-up. Customer Rating: Summary: Great appliance but doesn't last long Comment: I have owned 2 of these and love them. They are awesome and I have had so many friends ask where I found it. It's the best appliance I have ever used for grading cheese. It dosen't take up too much space and it's easy to clean. The only problem with it is that it dosen't last long. The two I have owned lasted less than 1 year and then they started to smell like melting plastic and then the blade stopped turning. I did use each one at least 2-3 times a week. I am ordering another one only I am keeping the box and reciept together so that I can take advantage of the warranty this time. I simply wore it out and could not find another one like it at our local stores. I turned to Amazon where I found it at a great price. I was lost until I got the new one in the mail. Kitchen tips -> Chicken pieces When cooking chicken pieces, start with the dark pieces and then add the white chicken. The dark takes longer to cook than the white, so starting the dark first will assist in the white and dark getting done close to the same time |
