Customer Reviews of Waring Pro DF100 Cool-Touch 3/4-Gallon Deep Fryer, Black with Stainless Accents
Customer Rating: Summary: I love it! Comment: This fryer is great! I've made french fries, wings, and all sorts of food and they are delicious! The basket and lid are great for ease of use (and not getting hot oil on my skin) and although the breakaway cord can be annoying, I definitely would've had hot oil spilled all over my kitchen if this feature wasn't available and the cord stayed taut. Customer Rating: Summary: Great deep fryer Comment: Works like a charm. The only thing I would change is the size of the basket. I really wish it was larger so I could fry more onion rings at one time. But I was restricted on counter space. Customer Rating: Summary: Very efficient, better than most Comment: I have owned many deep friers over the years, and this is really the best so far. Heats up quickly, has a nice big capacity and cleans easily. I am glad now that I did my research. Can't beat this one. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent fryer Comment: This fryer is easy to use and clean, heats up quickly, and drains food very efficiently. Customer Rating: Summary: deep fryer Comment: I looked at a lot of fryers and read many reviews. The Waring Pro DF100 does a great job! It has just enough oil to stay hot when you put in a pound of frozen french fries. Thawed battered fish, mushrooms and veggies also turn out very well. The filtered vent in the top works well but you do get some smell. I would buy this fryer again and recommed it to a friend. More Reviews Consumers can fry like the pros with Waring Pro® Professional Deep Fryers. Powerful 1800-watt immersion style heating elements bring oil to selected temperatures fast, and quick recovery time keeps it hot so results are consistently restaurant-quality -- crisp outside and moist inside. Industrial looks and stainless steel styling fit easily into both classic and high tech kitchens. And because consumers like easy, all of our deep fryers include indicator lights, timers, removable easy-to-clean control panels, and dishwasher-safe lids, baskets and bowls. Choosing Appliance -> Ovens Most avid bakers prefer separate, even-heat double electric ovens. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven. On the inside, a dark interior shows less baked-on grime, while a porcelain interior is easier to clean Choosing Appliance -> Cooking Pans This is another area where spending money is justified. The best pans combine different metals like aluminum or copper on the outside and stainless steel on the inside. Aluminum and copper are valued for their ability to spread heat evenly over the entire pan, and stainless steel is valued for its non-reactive qualities. Buy pans which are heavy and thick with solid handles that are well fastened to the pot. As with knives, buy the highest quality cooking pans you can afford one at a time, starting with a saute pan and a 3 qt. sauce pan. They will last forever. At some point, a stock pot (which will be especially pricey) should be considered for serious cooking. Waring Pro DF100 Cool-Touch 3/4-Gallon Deep Fryer, Black with Stainless Accents Useful info -> Food Waste Disposers Installation of a food waste disposer is straightforward, either in a new or existing kitchen but we would advise you look for brands that simply lock into place. Food waste disposers are also extremely durable and a good quality manufacturer will offer warranties of up to five years. |
