Toss and serve elegantly with these beech serving hands by Nigella Lawson. Use these serving hands to serve a salad of tossed greens or a bowlful of warm pasta with vegetables. From Nigella Lawson's collection of kitchenwares, these charming "hands" have unique, cupped shapes that keep food contained while serving. The serving hands are made of beechwood.Nigella Lawson's relaxed attitude to cooking and eating have made her a household name on both sides of the Atlantic. To her, cooking is not about slavishly following recipes, but about the simple desire to make something good to eat. Her engagingly-written bestselling cookbooks have a relaxed and comfortable style; as if Nigella herself were with you in the kitchen, chatting and gossiping as you cook. Likewise, her Living Kitchen range takes familiar kitchenware and refines and improves it to make cooking an easier and more pleasurable experience. Beautifully packaged, each item in Nigella's Living Kitchen collection makes an ideal gift ??? if you can bear to give it away. Why not treat yourself? Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Choosing Appliance -> Range Cookers The way you cook is also key to deciding which type of range cooker to choose. No-frills heat storage ranges such as Agas retain heat they have gradually built up and generally have two ovens without temperature controls - the hot oven is for roasting and baking, the cool one for slow cooking/keeping warm. Nigella Lawson Bliss Serving Hands Pair, Beech Kitchen tips -> Lettuce Dry lettuce and other salad greens before adding dressing by tossing a couple of paper towels with the greens in a large bowl. Once the towels have picked up the excess moisture, pull them out and throw them away |
