Customer Reviews of WearEver Premium Hard-Anodized 10-Inch Saute Pan
Customer Rating: Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5
Summary: great product and delivery
Comment: this pan is great. I HATE teflon and non-stick cookware in general as I do not trust it (anything that can kill a bird so easily is clearly potentially hazardous). All of my cookware is the old Corning ware type - got it from ebay. That stuff is great. However, I got really tired of losing half of my eggs and scrubbing for half an hour - perhaps a slight exaggeration but you get my point. So, strictly for cooking eggs, I got this pan after much research. I do not overheat it and only use it for eggs - I'm willing to be super careful with this and I think the tradeoff is worth the risk. Its the only nonstick piece I have so I'm cool with it. This baby cooks well and cleans extremely easily. I really like it - the only issue I have is that it is not terribly well balanced. It does tilt and far too easily but the tilt is slight. So I give it four twinkle twinkles

Summary: Lifetime guarantee 10 inch pan
Comment: Wearever 10 inch saute pan. They have so many I do not know if it is the same one, however their guarantee is bogess. The pan was warranteed for life, yet nothing ever touched it other than a Rubbermaid spatula. the nonstick woredown and became useless. This ol' Grandpa is fussy. Their comeback was it had been abused and that is not true. They agreed to replace it on a one time basis, but not to back their lifetime guarantee. this is dishonest marketing. May the buyer beware--and to reviewers who review on a short usage--use the product for a while before responding. It might just give the shopping public an honest choice.

Summary: Nice pan
Comment: I've had this pan for a few weeks. It's my first non-stick pan. Have previously used cast iron. This pan is a good weight and seers food to crisp outside and a tender outside. It's truly non-stick and cleanup is no issue at all. It's also very comfortable. I don't seem to use my cast iron as much now. I want the 12 inch version now.

Customer Rating: Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5
Summary: Saute Pan
Comment: This saute pan is just as advertised. Heavy anodized aluminum provides even surface temp and the nonstick has held up well so far. You could go a little cheaper with nonstick, you just throw them away when they get scratched, and they will, but for under $20 this was a good deal.

Summary: Excellent product
Comment: Quality is hard to come by today; especially at a reasonable price. This product gives both quality and good price. It's solid, should hold its shape and not warp. The non-stick does what it says. Don't know how long it will last, but I'm very pleased with it right now. I have paid four times as much for different brands that do not seem to be any better let alone 4 times better.

Choosing Appliance -> Energy-Efficient Refrigerators
The EnergyGuide label on new refrigerators will tell you how much electricity in kilowatt-hours (kWh) a particular model uses in one year. The smaller the number, the less energy the refrigerator uses and the less it will cost you to operate. In addition to the EnergyGuide label, don't forget to look for the Energy Star label. A new refrigerator with an Energy Star label will save you between $35 and $70 a year compared to the models designed 15 years ago. This adds up to between $525 and $1,050 during the average 15-year life of the unit.
Choosing Appliance -> Sinks
Consider which accessories might be beneficial. Many models can be supplied with a draining basket, chopping board and strainer bowls. A drainer extension can be useful for sinks without a drainer where worktop space is limited in a small kitchen.

Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Maintain Electrical Safely
The insulation on electrical cords can become damaged by wear, flexing, or age. Do not use any cord that is stiff or cracked. Some clues that you may have an electrical problem are:
  • Flickering lights. If the lights dim every time you turn on an appliance that circuit is overloaded or has a loose connection.
  • Sparks. If sparks appear when you insert or remove a plug, they could be a sign of loose connections.
  • Warm electrical cord. If an electrical cord is warm to the touch, the cord is underrated or defective.
  • Frequent blown fuses or broken circuits. A fuse or circuit breaker that keeps tripping is an important warning sign of problems.
  • Frequent bulb burnout. A light bulb that burns out frequently is a sign that the bulb is too high a wattage for the fixture.
