Customer Rating:  Summary: It Works Comment: Unfortunately, I have 5 cats that throw up quite a bit. Sometimes I feel like I'm awash in it. Yuck. Anyway, I have a Hoover steam carpet cleaner that I use. I just let this pre-treater soak in for a few minutes and then use the steam cleaner - and the stain is gone. Can't ask for anything better. It's not soapy, so there are no suds scumming up the carpet, plus it doesn't lighten up the section you use it on -- it all looks like the same carpet you started with! This wonderful product simply removes the stain and the smell (works on oriental carpeting also.) Be sure that any mixer has all three attachments: paddle, dough hook, and whip. Also, find a spot on the counter where it can be easily accessed at a moment's notice. Choosing Appliance -> Whip / Whisk Many still consider a whip as a "gourmet" piece of kitchen equipment. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is as essential as a kitchen stove and should be in everyone's kitchen. Nothing works better for mixing a multitude of different preparations or for making sauces or gravy. Buy a solid stainless steel whip with moderately stiff wires. Very thin wires are for mixing delicate things like egg whites or whipped cream. Very thick, solid wires are for mixing stiff dough.
