Customer Rating:  Summary: Easy to clean, stack and store, and is used every day Comment: I bought 2 of these pans over a year ago. I love them. They are of perfect size for a family of 2 to 4. They are easy to stack and store well in my kitchen drawer. I use them every day. I saute tofu, potatoes, and mixed vegetables. I make stir-fried tofu and vegetable dishes. I also use them to make omelettes. The pans are of medium weight. I love the glass lids and the stainless steel handles. I wash the pans and lids in my dishwasher, and they've done well even after a year of constant use. I've given these pans as gifts to friends, and they've been liked by my friends as well. This machine may cost more to buy but uses about a third of the energy and less water than a top-loading machine. With a front loader, you'll also save more on clothes drying, because they remove more water from your clothes during the spin cycle. Look for the Energy Star label. Choosing Appliance -> Food Processor This is a big ticket item, but worth its weight in gold. It will save so much time when it comes to simple chopping or more advanced preparations like mayonnaise. As with most things, buy quality-- it will last longer, be capable of tougher jobs, and give you less problems. Kitchen tips -> Two-crust pie When making a two-crust pie, moisten the edge of the bottom crust with water before placing the second crust on top. The moistened edge will help create a good seal once the two crusts are crimped together |
