Customer Rating:   Summary: OGGI, one of the best they've made! Comment: I purchased an OGGI carafe that was completely chrome before this one. It had a chrome top, spout and handle and wasn't made as well. Beware of chrome models, especially those with chrome painted plastic. These will crack, fade and flake off prematurely. This one was great however, similar to the ones you'll find in Starbucks for milk and half & half, just fatter. I haven't used this one for coffee storage, just half & half and it works perfectly, you can put a whole half gallon of half and half from Costco in here. It's easy to clean and very well constructed and keeps the creamer fresher longer in your frig. TIP: Find this at Bed, Bath & Beyond, and use their 20% off coupon (they never expire), that's probably the cheapest route! Watch out for the spout spill plate coming loose. Don't lose it! Oggi is an importer based in California without a web site. The carafe is a quality Chinese-made product. Choosing Appliance -> Dishwashers Check the capacity. 'Standard' 60cm wide dishwashers can take 12, 14 or 16 place settings, whilst slimline 45cm models may cater for 7, 8 or 9 place settings. Compact dishwashers tend to be 45 cm wide and can be placed on the worktop or built in, depending on the model. They may take 4, 5 or 6 place settings. Choosing Appliance -> Spoons Buy stainless spoons (both slotted and non-slotted) which are solid and won't bend no matter how tough the job.
