I thought this was a fantastic deal at $5 and change... I would buy again Customer Rating:  Summary: beware these cookie sheets Comment: the cookie sheets were on back order and took a long time to come in, I don't know if I got the same product that everyone else got, but each time I tried to bake cookies on them, the cookies would burn on the bottom in only 2 minutes at 350 degrees. (after 3 attempts, I gave up, this never happens with any other cookie sheets) Will never use them again, big disappointment. The pans are made of heavy weight carbon steel to aid in even browning. The nonstick surface makes cleanup easy and allows you to bake cookies without greasing the pan. The color of a baking pan influences the browning of your baked goods - the darker the color, the more browning occurs. Our nonstick cookie pan is a light gray color to prevent over browning. Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens The standard 60cm oven has been joined by various other sizes. Now consumers can choose from 60,70 and 90cm wide built-in single ovens. Useful info -> Built-in Ovens Built-under ovens may be single or double cavity and also need a separate hob. Double cavity ovens are essential if you want to cook one dish and grill another at the same time. |
