I'll admit that it's not really needed, but i does makes filling up your grinders & mills a little easier. I really bought this for the tray though. My pepper grinder dispels excess grindings, and this makes clean up much more pleasant. Sturdy, attractive, and it only cost me $5! = ) Customer Rating: Summary: Even nicer than I expected! Comment: Both items are great quality and flawless! The funnel is larger than I expected and makes simple work of filling pepper mills and spice jars. Nice design. The wood tray keeps all of the grinds that remain in the grinding mechanism after use from getting all over the counter... I just wish I could buy more of them by themselves instead of in a set. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result. Kitchen tips -> Lettuce Dry lettuce and other salad greens before adding dressing by tossing a couple of paper towels with the greens in a large bowl. Once the towels have picked up the excess moisture, pull them out and throw them away |
