Customer Rating:  Summary: surprisingly long lasting Comment: My water kettle has been reliably boiling water for me every day for the past 7-8 years without problems. The water does not end up tasting like plastic, and the water boils much faster than with a stove-top kettle. Few complaints: The red ball that shows the water level is now starting to get stuck and the small gaps between the seams (where the handle attaches to the body, etc.) gathers dirt, which is hard to remove. Overall, I love it. I have the regular-sized cordless model at home and the mini model at work. If it breaks one day, I plan on purchasing it again.
