Customer Reviews of Chef'n Palm Brush, Cherry
Customer Rating: Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5
Summary: A great brush
Comment: This is a great little vegie brush. It's still too early to say how well it will hold up, but it has worked wonders on potatoes so far!

Customer Rating: Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5
Summary: Handy - pun intended : )
Comment: The brush fits solidly in the hand, making cleaning of vegetable such as potatoes and carrots a breeze.

My only complaint is that while I understand the finger slot needs to accommodate a variety of finger sizes, I would like it to be a bit less flexible. It tends to slip a bit when I kick it into high speed to clean enough potatoes for a picnic potato salad. However, it works really well for casually cleaning veges.

Summary: Easy to use...love the shape!
Comment: I finally decided it was time to have a vegie brush and I chose this one for the design. I was glad I did. It fits great in my hand and doesn't slip and slide around. It works wonderfully for cleaning potatoes..especially if you like the skin in your mashed potatoes like I do!

Summary: Love it
Comment: I was afraid that my finger would get stuck in the finger-handle, but the plastic is flexible and comfortable. I prefer scrubbing my potatoes and carrots, and this is the perfect tool.

Choosing Appliance -> Whip / Whisk
Many still consider a whip as a "gourmet" piece of kitchen equipment. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is as essential as a kitchen stove and should be in everyone's kitchen. Nothing works better for mixing a multitude of different preparations or for making sauces or gravy. Buy a solid stainless steel whip with moderately stiff wires. Very thin wires are for mixing delicate things like egg whites or whipped cream. Very thick, solid wires are for mixing stiff dough.
Choosing Appliance -> Baking sheete
Not too much romance here, but essential for any functional kitchen. Buy the heaviest pans possible. Also, you should consider buying a non-stick silicon sheet: they make baking very easy!

Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Maintain Electrical Safely
The insulation on electrical cords can become damaged by wear, flexing, or age. Do not use any cord that is stiff or cracked. Some clues that you may have an electrical problem are:
  • Flickering lights. If the lights dim every time you turn on an appliance that circuit is overloaded or has a loose connection.
  • Sparks. If sparks appear when you insert or remove a plug, they could be a sign of loose connections.
  • Warm electrical cord. If an electrical cord is warm to the touch, the cord is underrated or defective.
  • Frequent blown fuses or broken circuits. A fuse or circuit breaker that keeps tripping is an important warning sign of problems.
  • Frequent bulb burnout. A light bulb that burns out frequently is a sign that the bulb is too high a wattage for the fixture.
