Customer Reviews of Chef'n Kitchzen Short Silicone Whisk, Apricot
Customer Rating: Summary: Very good wisk Comment: I bought this as a replacement for my silicone whisk of years past (that one lasted about 2 years). This particular one is SOOO MUCH STRONGER than those made by more-expensive names, with far more silicone on the whisk than other brands; I had an enginner friend of mine look at it and he gave it "thumbs-up"! Excellent for cooking in non-stick pans, as well as any pan that you don't want to scratch-up due to metal-on-metal contact. Cleans up with simply a rinse under the faucet! :) Customer Rating: Summary: bought this as gifts Comment: I bought several of these as well as silicone spatulas as gifts for family members. They said they love them. Customer Rating: Summary: OXO good grips whisk Comment: Nice whisk, I use it just about every day, now I don't have to take out my hand mixer. Very good, thanks. More Reviews Choosing Appliance -> Ovens Most avid bakers prefer separate, even-heat double electric ovens. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven. On the inside, a dark interior shows less baked-on grime, while a porcelain interior is easier to clean Choosing Appliance -> Whip / Whisk Many still consider a whip as a "gourmet" piece of kitchen equipment. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is as essential as a kitchen stove and should be in everyone's kitchen. Nothing works better for mixing a multitude of different preparations or for making sauces or gravy. Buy a solid stainless steel whip with moderately stiff wires. Very thin wires are for mixing delicate things like egg whites or whipped cream. Very thick, solid wires are for mixing stiff dough. Add more herbs shortly before serving to boost the flavor |
