Customer Reviews of Norpro Grip-EZ Tea Infuser With Cup
Customer Rating: Summary: Nice Product Comment: I purchased this because even with tea in a BAG, I hate having to hold it down with a spoon to prevent it from floating. I now put my tea bag inside the infuser and it is always underwater when brewing. The downside is that for some reason, even with the infuser, I can still get bits of tea "dust" and such in my cup, which I really thought this might eliminate. But I am not really a tea guru, just a fan of a daily cup. I drink tea from the Republic of Tea, whose tea bags contain no strings or staples and are completely round and flat. I do put this in the dishwasher and have had no issues. I was unsure if it was dishwasher safe but it comes out clean and has no melting or warping issues. Easy to use. Customer Rating: Summary: works great, short handle Comment: the infuser does certainly contain the tea leaves and cleans easily. you really can't just drop the whole thing in the cup while steeping, unless you don't mind having the hinges and the rubber part of the handle in your tea. Customer Rating: Summary: great for that cup of tea Comment: I really am pleased with this infusier. Its small and light but works very well. Even came with a little metal dish to rest it in . Customer Rating: Summary: Well made -- works well. Comment: This item is well made, and actually rather attractive. It looks better in real-life than in the picture. The handles are a nice silicon, and the spring loaded mechanism is rather clever. I am not, however, convinced that the design is perfect. It's a bit peculiar to load with tea while holding it open with the other hand. More Reviews Choosing Appliance -> Stainless steel bowls These are the best all purpose bowls for a multitude of applications. Choose a wide range of sizes (be sure to get a large bowl for whipping egg whites and whipped cream). In general, the heavier the bowl, the higher quality. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result. You can save around 500 hours a year so it is worth thinking about. If you have a small kitchen or live alone, choose a slimline model. Norpro Grip-EZ Tea Infuser With Cup Kitchen tips -> Lasagne When boiling lasagne noodles, because of their size, it is best to add 1 tablespoon of oil to prevent the noodles from sticking together. Avoid using oil when boiling other noodles because the oil will prevent the sauce from sticking to the noodles properly |
