Customer Reviews of Fusionbrands The Food Loop Lace Silicone Lacing Tool, Orange
Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful tool Comment: I have owned this for almost a year and I love it. It takes some getting used to and is much thicker than cooking twine, but it always holds the bird together and the stuffing inside. It's easy to wash and easy to use. It also doesn't stick to the item being trussed like cooking twine does, and the orange color makes it super-easy to spot. Very well designed tool. More Reviews The foodloop Lace is heat-resistant to 675 F/315 C. The 22 inch long Lace is made of flexible, nonstick FDA-compliant silicone. Reusable, dishwasher safe with mesh bag for storage or use in the dishwasher. NOT MICROWAVE SAFE Choosing Appliance -> Knives The importance of high quality knives can't be stressed enough! Buy the best you can and expect to spend some serious money. It is better to buy a couple of excellent knives and slowly add to your collection rather than buying an entire set of low quality knives. Start with a chef knife and paring knife. You will also want to buy a sharpening steel. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Keen cooks may want to take advantage of multi-function ovens - usually aimed at the top end of the market. As well as traditional cooking, fan or fan-assisted cooking and grilling, these ovens offer up to nine further functions. These include: Top element only (browning), bottom element (final cooking of pastry dishes or pizzas), fan and bottom element (delicate cooking), fan only (thawing). Fusionbrands The Food Loop Lace Silicone Lacing Tool, Orange Useful info -> Self-Cleaning Ovens Store measuring cups, mixing bowls and other items used together in the same place. Duplicate frequently used items like cutting boards, knives and dish towels in each work area. Keep two containers - one at the baking center, the other at the range - for wooden spoons, spatulas and other cooking basics. And try to store every item at its first point of use. Keep the saute pan near the range, and stow pasta pots near the sink. |
