Customer Rating:   Summary: Good Value, Solid Build Comment: This 8" MIU pepper mill seems pretty well together, but time will tell the durability. Our most recent pepper mill from Williams and Sonoma gave out after about 6-7 years of regular use -- some of the parts on the business end of that unit were made of plastic, which eventually broke apart. The grinding parts and related support mechanisms on this new pepper grinder are made of metal, so they will likely hold up better. The one lament we have is that control over how fine the grind is not very precise. Otherwise, no complaints. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Buy...High Quality!!! Unlike wood, bamboo is a naturally abundant resource which grows quickly and is easy to harvest. This is a beautiful grinder to keep on the dinner table at all times. This model features a stainless-steel grinder. Bring the taste of fresh ground pepper to any meal. Fill with whole peppercorns only. Not for use with pre-ground pepper. Do not put in the dishwasher. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Measures: 2.5" Diameter by 8" High.
