Customer Rating:   Summary: Wow, did I get the same product? Comment: For me, the string pull was impossible. Either the string stayed out when it was pulled (like a yoyo stuck at the bottom), or the string snapped back into spinner so fast I was afraid of losing a limb. My index finger was snapped twice by the pull string before I decided enough was enough. I can't say whether it dried salad or not as it never got past the dry runs. I returned this and ordered the Zyliss `Smart Touch' Salad Spinner instead. It is by far superior to the MIU. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent! Comment: This is the first salad spinner I have owned. My daughter has one which works well, but even she is amazed at how fabulous and easy this one is. I would highly recommend it to anyone! Customer Rating: Summary: Salad Spinner a winner! Comment: I make a lot of salads and have been using a $5 salad spinner for the last 10 years. It was cumbersome and hardly worth the trouble. A neighbor recommended this salad spinner so I decided to finally spend the extra money for something that I use at least three times a week. I am very glad that I did! It spins out the lettuce really well and it's so much easier to use. Customer Rating: Summary: Simply the best and makes the most sense !!! Comment: This salad spinner is a winner...Just place in your sink, run your water through the top and spin, spin, spin....the clean water goes in and drains out the bottom directly into the sink. When you feel you have rinsed enough, just turn off your water and spin some more. You lettuce will be dry and crisp, all in one step. What could easier. No wasted paper towels to dry the lettuce and no watered down salad dressing. I couldn't live without it since I have salad nearly every night. Remember this does it all., Washes and dries without ever leaving the sink....Not all salad spinners do this. Read before you buy !!!!!! Customer Rating: Summary: Simply the best... Comment: How often can you own "the best" of anything for so little? I've had other salad spinners that didn't drain the water, or had cheap plastic gears that stripped. I've even owned other "zip-line" spinners similar to this one. But this one is the best made and best working of all of them. Durable string, comfortable handle, nicely fitted spin basket and plenty big for spinning tons of greens. It's comforting to see that someone put a lot of thought into designing this simple kitchen gadget. As long as it's going to last for years and years, why not get the best one? More Reviews

Kitchen tips -> Pineapple Do not use fresh pineapple in a salad that contains gelatin. The fresh pineapple contains an enzyme that will prevent the gelatin from setting. Use canned pineapple instead. |
