Customer Reviews of Kuhn Rikon Paring Knife Nonstick Green
Customer Rating: Summary: Kuhn Rikon Paring Knife Comment: The Paring Knife is a fantastic tool. Having color on it makes it fun to use. Customer Rating: Summary: Love the colors! Comment: These Kuhn Rikon paring knives are great! The colors make it easy not to peel your veggies with the same knife you just cut up your chicken with thus avoiding cross contamination. The sheaths are a great plus as you can toss them in a drawer or anywhere really without the fear of damaging the blade or what it would touch. The only thing I did not like is that they are not full tang. With a full tang they would have a better weight to them and be stronger. I love them just the same though and will probably order one of each color. You can put them anywhere. Customer Rating: Summary: Best paring knife ever Comment: This attractive little knife from the amazing folks at Kuhn Rikon should be an essential part of anyone's kitchen. Customer Rating: Summary: LOVE these knives Comment: I absolutely love these knives. I do demo's for a living and when we walk away from our table, we can not leave a knife on it so I always put mine in my pocket. The sheath is perfect for protecting me from getting cut. They are extremely sharp and work exactly like the ad says. No bad things to say about them at all. Customer Rating: Summary: Love These Knives! Comment: These are really great knives. Very sharp, non-stick is great and the sheath is handy. I love having an inexpensive alternative that works great. Generally I prefer Wustof knives but with paring knifes I usually need more than I have on hand unless I want to clean them inbetween items. While I'm sure that they won't have the blade life of Wustof at the price I can have many and just replace them at the end of their life span. I have had our current one a year and its still going strong. I used one to cut up a chicken yesterday and it was plenty sharp. (It was my only clean knife). More Reviews Kuhn Rikon Nonstick Paring Knife in Green - Kuhn Rikon 2812 Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Keen cooks may want to take advantage of multi-function ovens - usually aimed at the top end of the market. As well as traditional cooking, fan or fan-assisted cooking and grilling, these ovens offer up to nine further functions. These include: Top element only (browning), bottom element (final cooking of pastry dishes or pizzas), fan and bottom element (delicate cooking), fan only (thawing).
