Customer Rating:  Summary: Makes threading the needle painless! Comment: This is the second sewing machine I've owned with a self-threading feature. The Brother SA250 Thread Cassette works very well. Once in awhile it misses and you have to repeat the process, but it beats doing it the old-fashioned way! The other machine I have is a Simplicity. I never could get the self-threading feature to work on it. I bought the Brother SE270D to replace it and didn't hold out much hope for the self-threading feature to work, given my previous experiences. You will not be disappointed with the Thread Cassette! Especially handy to load several ahead of time for your embroidery projects. I only have 2 cassettes and they work fine for my embroidery. I plan on buying a few more to keep loaded with black and white sewing thread. I no longer fear self-threading machines!!! This is same as original cassette that came with sewing machine. It only saves me about two minutes of time when changing thread color. Also look for tough, lightweight nylon or graphite racks with cushioned tips that protect glassware and cookware. Weimer recommends choosing a model with a rack design that provides the largest, most flexible interior space and is configured for your belongings, including odd-shaped pieces. Choosing Appliance -> Spoons Buy stainless spoons (both slotted and non-slotted) which are solid and won't bend no matter how tough the job. Also, buy several high quality wooden spoons for stirring delicate dishes like risotto (the sharp edge of a metal spoon would cut or bruise the rice).
