Lots of fun to experiment with - make your own hummus. Little chopper perfect for less than 1 cup qualtities - like nuts for baking. Customer Rating:  Summary: Hand Blenders Rock Comment: I started using hand blenders when my first baby was born. I made him all of his food at home and there was nothing easier than the hand blender. Fast Forward 15 years and I'm on my 4th blender. I like the Bosch brand and had seen this one with a renoun Chef's name added. I got a much better price here. The blender itself is not very powerful, but sufficient for most easy jobs. I really like the fact that it is cordless. Customer Rating: Summary: Bosch handheld blender/small chopper Comment: I burned up the motor on two (2) BRAUN handheld mixer/chopper making just a simple humus. Braun may make some good products but I shall never purchase anything else from that maker. My BOSCH is powerful/a real workhorse and I thrilled to have it. I often have to have use of a blender/mixer/chopper and this Mixxo proved perfect to use, especially at an outdoor event.. I had the chance to use this machine for the first time on the 4th of July and it was great since we where outside I thought this would be the perfect time to put this to the test since it's cordless, and I wouldn't have to miss out on any of the activities by leaving the party and going inside to have use of the electricity. I could continue to enjoy myself while also preparing drinks, sauces and and it made some of the best smashed potatoes for salad..This worked out perfect and my friends where interested in purchasing. Kitchen tips -> Cut raw meat When trying to cut thin slices or strips of raw meat, it is easier if you put the meat into the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour before cutting to help firm up the meat, or if the meat was frozen, slice it before it is completely thawed |
