Customer Reviews of Ironwood Gourmet Acacia Wood Pizza Peel
Customer Rating: Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5Rating: 4/5
Summary: a little thicker than expected but beautiful
Comment: This pizza peel is a little bit thicker than I was expecting, or perhaps more importantly, has a less tapered edge than I was expecting, making it a little difficult to remove pizza with the peel but I have had good luck sliding pizzas off my stone with a spatula and this is a really beautiful peel, perfect for serving.

Customer Rating: Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5
Summary: good peel
Comment: Works well; I was worried that wood wouldn't work as well as stainless steel but it does and is beautiful to boot.

Choosing Appliance -> Food Processor
This is a big ticket item, but worth its weight in gold. It will save so much time when it comes to simple chopping or more advanced preparations like mayonnaise. As with most things, buy quality-- it will last longer, be capable of tougher jobs, and give you less problems. To make the food processor easiest to use, leave it on the counter top instead of storing it in a cabinet.
Choosing Appliance -> Fridge / Freezers
By law manufacturers must disclose the energy efficiency of their appliances, rated A to G. These are usually displayed prominently in showrooms. The better the rating, the more energy efficient the appliance is - good for both the environment and your pocket.

Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Maintain Electrical Safely
The insulation on electrical cords can become damaged by wear, flexing, or age. Do not use any cord that is stiff or cracked. Some clues that you may have an electrical problem are:
  • Flickering lights. If the lights dim every time you turn on an appliance that circuit is overloaded or has a loose connection.
  • Sparks. If sparks appear when you insert or remove a plug, they could be a sign of loose connections.
  • Warm electrical cord. If an electrical cord is warm to the touch, the cord is underrated or defective.
  • Frequent blown fuses or broken circuits. A fuse or circuit breaker that keeps tripping is an important warning sign of problems.
  • Frequent bulb burnout. A light bulb that burns out frequently is a sign that the bulb is too high a wattage for the fixture.
