Customer Reviews of KitchenAid JE Citrus Juicer Stand Mixer Attachment
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Tool For Kitchen Aid Mixer Comment: I have used various hand and electric juicers in the past, and none has worked any better than this one. It is a bit noisy and the supplied pulp filter needs to be supplemented with a secondary filter after squeezing. This is more than offset by ease of use and cleaning. If you already own/are planning on buying a kitchen aid stand mixer and you squeeze citrus, this is a very worthwhile investment. Customer Rating: Summary: Juice Extractor Comment: The Kitchen Aid mixer has all the power you need to extract juice from any citrus. The only minus is the verticle position causes some juice to run down your fingers. Customer Rating: Summary: Lemonade! Comment: Love this gadget, we make lots of lemonade during summer and it sure saves tired arms! Customer Rating: Summary: A great Juicer. Comment: I grow and juice Large White Grapefruit and this does just what I needed it to do. It is easy to wash and put together. Customer Rating: Summary: Just what I wanted Comment: I have owned the stand mixer for twenty five years. Every addition I add has been a quality item, this one is no exception. It juices all citrus fruits perfectly and with little fuss. Even the largest grapefruit was easy to juice. More Reviews Turn your trusty stand mixer into a citrus juicer with this attachment. You'll be able to process enough juice for the everyone's breakfast in just a few minutes. Choosing Appliance -> Grater In our opinion, the old fashioned box graters work the best since they are sturdy and offer several different grating sizes. Choosing Appliance -> Cooking Pans This is another area where spending money is justified. The best pans combine different metals like aluminum or copper on the outside and stainless steel on the inside. Aluminum and copper are valued for their ability to spread heat evenly over the entire pan, and stainless steel is valued for its non-reactive qualities. Buy pans which are heavy and thick with solid handles that are well fastened to the pot. As with knives, buy the highest quality cooking pans you can afford one at a time, starting with a saute pan and a 3 qt. sauce pan. They will last forever. At some point, a stock pot (which will be especially pricey) should be considered for serious cooking.
