Customer Rating:   Summary: Does the job Comment: Toasts quite nicely and evenly. Setting is usually in the middle and the toast comes out not too dark not too light. The spring up works well, no digging out with a knife or something silly. Only complaints are that it has a fairly loud humming noise when it's in operation and the door on the bottom has a fairly difficult latch to undo and redo for cleaning. Neither of which imped the operation of making bread into toast. Customer Rating: Summary: No stop or cancel button Comment: Toasts well, super cheap, but doesn't have a way to stop the thing without pulling the cord from the wall. Customer Rating: Summary: Barely acceptable Comment: It toasts VERY slowly, and the results are slightly uneven and inconsistent. Dense bread that's stored in the fridge (like bagels) barely brown on the highest setting. I wish I had returned this before the 30 days expired. I've only had it a few weeks put already the lever (the one you shove down when you want it to start toating) seems to be getting stuck. So maybe its not a very good buy. It will save so much time when it comes to simple chopping or more advanced preparations like mayonnaise. As with most things, buy quality-- it will last longer, be capable of tougher jobs, and give you less problems.
