Customer Reviews of Kitchen Selectives ECD-88 Electric Heated Chip and Dip Tray, white
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent and handy product Comment: This product is worth it's weight in gold. Excellent for hot dips, or even taco's. Heats up fast and keeps food hot, not just warm. Highly recommended. Customer Rating: Summary: Effective Product Comment: The product was delivered in a timely manner and in adequate packaging so that no damage occurred. The product was a gift, but so far I have heard that it has worked out great for the person that is using it. Customer Rating: Summary: Would recommend~ Saves Space but Heavy to Transport Comment: This heats up nicely, although you have to unplug if using for extended length of time (super bowl game) so cheese dip doesn't over-cook & turn on again to maintain temperature. Very convenient since I would have to use a separate crock for my signature dip. It is a little heavy & bulky to transport. Comes apart nicely for washing. More Reviews Removable 22-ounce stoneware crock insert for holding dipsMelamine chip trayUnique heating base with micro switch Powered by an in-line switch Perfect for hot spinach dip and chips Choosing Appliance -> Taps If you want a sink with large bowl dimensions to cope with big-pan washing-up, it is worth considering a tap with a pull-out or pull-down spray rinse. This gives you water anywhere you need it around the bowl area. Choosing Appliance -> Strainers We recommend 2 strainers for every kitchen. The first is a solid stainless steel colander (one big enough to wash a lot of lettuce at once). The second strainer is a fine mesh conical strainer (called a chinois) which is a must for any serious sauce or stock making. A chinois is an expensive purchase, but with care it will last many years. Kitchen Selectives ECD-88 Electric Heated Chip and Dip Tray, white Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Cleaning & Maintenance Oven Never use a scouring pad of any sort to remove stubborn stains or soiled areas, since these pads scratch the finish and any future soiled areas won't clean up as well, especially with the self-cleaning models. When the oven is cool to the touch, place a cloth or sponge, dampened with warm to hot tap water, onto the soiled area and allow it to sit, for about ten minutes or so, to help loosen the soil. |
